Work in progress!

So I am infatuated with spirals right now... mainly because they seemed to be the easiest for me to learn, and I haven't had time to teach myself anything new... BUT I am still new to all this, and apparently I am still not done learning. My intentions for this piece was to be a bangle bracelet... apparently that is not what IT had in mind! Every time i try to curve it around my wrist for measurements it crinkles and folds in many unflattering ways.... so I am praying that I can continue with it, and turn it into a necklace.... but i am a very impatient person, and want it done NOW!!! (NOT going to happen with 3 kids under my heals... hopefully we have a good nap time today!)
I have SO many new ideas that I want to get started... but I know that if I put this piece down to start something else, I will move on and never come back... hopefully I will make some progress today... its dark and rainy, so my original plans are shot...got a very good tip that my pictures in my shop are um... not so good...(I am VERY grateful for the honesty) so my original plans were to get outside this morning and try and get some better more flattering shots... Guess this is a sign to stay in a finish a necklace... we will see...
here is my work in progress... would love to hear what you think and get some suggestions! Thanks!!

I always find work in progress pictures fascinating - really makes you appreciate the finished piece.

Love the color combination in your spiral and look forward to seeing the finished necklace - unless it decides it wants to keep on growing and ends up as a belt :D

Your bracelet...which decided it wanted to become a necklace...looks beautiful so far. I know how your feel though. I love to have instant gratification you can get from a bracelet. I have many necklaces that have become bracelets. LOL

About the pictures, I know how you feel. I need to go in and get new pictures on my pieces too and put them in my shop.

I'm very familiar with the temptation to stop in the middles and call it a bracelet.
Finish it! You'll be glad you did!

I love the colors you chose for your bracelet turned necklace. It's going to be a beautiful piece, no matter what.

Love Cellini pieces. I've only made one myself, but I do admire those of you who see them through beginning to end...be they bracelets or necklaces :D

I really love the blue and white one in the entry below, btw.

Can't wait to see your finished piece. I've never tried a Cellini spiral but I love the way they look.

I haven't tried this type of spiral yet and your is just beautiful. What I love about beading is that it's about the process for me...not so much the end of the process. I love it when pieces tell me what they want to be! I can't wait to see it when you are done!

The spiral looks awesome, and you have a great eye for color!

And I know what you mean about instant gratification. I go crazy when I don't know exactly how a piece will turn out!
